hmmm...maybe you should think about all of the possible ways this could expand into a full-blown story, like if it involves fantasy you coud have the new kid be involved with a secret organization and only be at the school to complete a mission or something like that if its a romance you should have them fall in love with the same person. you get the idea? It takes a lot of thinking...
