What kind of bug is in the photo linked below?

10 points says it's a firefly (aka lightning bug). "Clumsy flight" kind of clinches the deal. I don't know why you'd want to kill it out of hand; beetles are pretty much the most harmless sort of insect (to humans, at least) there is.
