Mood swings and lack of social interaction?

Hey from the title you probably already know what to excpect, i'm in my mid teens and since I could remember I've been easily hurt (emotionally) and as a result I avoid most social situations, or try to act like I'm not there when I am there, I'm scared I'll look or do stupid things as when something like that happens i think about it Alot which which ***** me up, also I suffer from mood swings, I feel like sometimes I can be totally happy and care free and sincere, And then before I know it I'm a sarcastic depressed pessimistic person, there's been mornings where I woke up and feel ok and then my thought patterns go 180 degrees, I listen to music, makes me feel good sometimes, and then in just a sad mess, sometime I lock my door and stare at the celing in mental pain, as of last Christmas I took up guitar, but recently I just feel like it's another problem, but maybe in a few hours I'll pick it up and play with happiness.... Who knows, I already know I have OCD (definietly) but I'm self diagnosed as I lack the actual confidence to face a psycologist. So people what are your thoughts feelings reccomendations etc...

Animal cruelty please help!?

Some family friends have 2 pit bulls. A male and female the female was pregnate and had babies. The female pit bull lives behind a truck in the trunk with her puppies and theirs a dog house also, all in a small trunk. the mom is tied up..problem is SHES ALL BONES. like she's soooo skinny (i took some pictures for evidence). I asked some teenager "why is she so skinny" and he said bacause kayla doesn't feed her (kayla is his sister in law). I mean she has kibbles thrown all over the trunk (not much though) but she does not seem to eat them. My brother gave her some food and she imediately ate it. Im not sure if they have water. I want to call animal services but im afraid it will cause problems between our families. I am only 16 and care a lot about animal. Do u think this is enough for the services to take away their dogs? Can they also get involved with the family if they dont have papers (like being legal) or take their kids away? Aw maybe im over reacting. I know i can call anonymous but im sure the family will know it was me who called cuz i was showing concern about the dog. They said "shes just skinny because she's feeding the puppies" but shes so skinny not even healthy! I will post the pict in a few minutes. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I havent had my periods in 4 mths , what does that mean?

im 17 yrs old, myy last menstrual cycle was februrary 23..i had intercourse around march 4, andd another one on march 14. i was waiting on my periods to come on the 23, it nvr kame.! i tld my moma, she said its prolly frm tht depo shot. bt i was off thm shots july 2010.! so ihad waited fa the april 23 to come, it didnt, i took a pregnancy test, it came out negative. so i was like oh well. then i was like so worried, because of cravings like pickle and an ice cream, vomiting, naueseas, bad headaches and backaches, mood swings..sharp pains in the stomach and private area and plus myy boobs frm time to time., i feel like the sharp pains was kuming frm the veins in my boobs, been tiredd alot, senenstive to the smells..i gained some weight, because the last time i weight i was like abt 118 to 123 lbs, i took another pregnancy test, idk the results because they didnt take the paper.bt im not sure wht it is because my friendd had took tht type of test, and she got pregnant and had a bby, so i asked her whts the results is, it turned out wht i had is postive. my stomach started to get big, but its a lil hard and cant feel anything in there. so when i went to the doctor in early june, she told me im not, and i weight 136 and a half lbs.! i dnt have any dieases or infections. i havealot of vaginal discharges.sometimes its white-ish and yellow-ish.! sometimes i feel like i am but dont knw it. you knw wht i mean? i had spotting for 2 days out of 4 mths.! tht was it.! everytime i stopped thinking abt it, it kept on koming bakk., so i feel like sumthing trying to tell me i need to do sumthing, bt the doctors cant seem to find anything wrong with me. can you help me.?

Why is my bird biting the cage and toy?

after trying to teach her to step up last 2 days and well were trying to let her know us more and when were just talking to her she plays with her toys but when she bites the swing she pushes it and when the other side is nearing her she bites and screams at the toy so is that helping her bite more and when she doesn't play with the swing she bites the cage and many of the bars are already dented so why is she doing that is she hungry we always feed her so why does she do that?

Those are all pregnancy symptoms so u should take a pregnancy test just 2 be sure, my friend got pregnant twice whilst on the pill! Also ur pill could be the reason for these symptoms, u may need to go to ur doctors & change ur pill. I used to be on the pill & it make have migraine & feel sick, so my doctors gave me new 1s & now I feel fine :) either way going 2 ur doctor is probably the best option :)

Prescribed Celexa, doctor didn't tell me what he suspected, what happens next?

So I had my appointment today with my physician and he prescribed me Celexa.He didn't tell me what exactly he suspects. After almost 8 years of symptoms , which I never truly realized until recently what was going on, I finally went for help. Both of my sisters are bipolar, my uncle was as well and depression is common in my family also. It was hard to talk about it but I am sick of living with these severe mood swings. Feeling happy then in a split second depressed to my core for no reason at all. It usually rotates between happy (least often), anger, and depression (most often), but in a split second for no reason at all. These 'swings' can last anywhere from a few minutes, hours, days, weeks or even months and are unpredictable. Suicidal thoughts, my mind constantly racing non stop, memory getting worse, can't concentrate, relationships in turmoil, and my quality of life dwindling. I just want my life back, I've coped with it so far but it is getting worse and I can't take it anymore. I have a appointment in a month to see how effective it is, but I am wondering what will happen after that? Will I get referred to a psychiatrist for diagnosis? What tests will be done? I just want my life back! :(

Any Experiences With Tri Cyclen Lo?

I am currently taking yasmin birth control but went to my doctor to get switched because I was starting early and would have random bouts of nausea. I have been on yasmin for close to three years now. My doctor suggested tri cyclen Lo but after reading some peoples experiences with it I'm a little scared. I have heard of weight gain and near psychotic moods. I am small and (to be honest) terrified of weight gain. I also have anxiety so I would not be able to handle the mood swings. Any opinions on this bc or advice?

When you're looking at songs for dance you want to focus on the beat. Love song has a medium beat 1-2-1-2-1-2. I don't really know how to describe it in writing but if you just listen to the bass of the song or clap your hands to the beat it will be 1-2-1-2-1-2. I would assume tango or cha-cha. I was harassed at the park w//o a cell phone?

Long term side effects of coming off the contraceptive pill?

I came off the pill in February of this year, after being on it for 10 years, as me and my husband want to have a baby. I had a period 6 weeks after coming off the pill,then had my first proper period 4 weeks after that around the 8th April, then another period 4 weeks after that on the 8th May and since then ive had nothing. I have broken out in spots that don't seem to be clearing and feel so fat and bloated all the time. Im going on holiday in 3 months and have been eating a healthy balanced diet and gyming it 5 times a week but can't seem to loose any weight. I just don't get it im trying so hard to be healthy but it just seems wasted effort, and I know there is no chance of getting pregnant with my periods all messed up which Is adding to my constant mood swings. Im also feeling quite down in the dumps a lot and frankly its really pissing me off, which makes me feel worse. is there anyone else experience these symptoms when they came off the pill? and how long did it take for you to feel normal?

Am I developing a pyschosis?

I started cutting at age 12 later to find out I had depression, I take Prozac for it. When I was 13 I started having paranoia and agoraphobia so they upped the dose on my Prozac which helps with my paranoid feelings.... Though I still act upon my paranoia at times, such as taping my camera lens so people cannot watch me or even dialing 911 just because I think something bad will happen. The reason why I am asking this is because at the moment I am hearing clear voices in my head, I use to imagine voices but they never each had their own individual tones and dialects... It was sort of like I was just thinking oddly to myself... But now the voices are so clear and annoying that I just can't handle it. I'm 14 going on 15 years old, do you think maybe my depression could really be anything else?? I also have sever mood swings if someone upsets me... One little thing and I'm breaking things, thinking about cutting again, and keeping myself from all humanity.

This pretty much sounds like me 6 months ago. i didn't have my period for 3 months and had lots of pregnancy symptoms. after 10 neg preg tests i was so confused cause i had myself convinced. The mind is a powerful thing. once you come to terms with the fact you are not pregnant, your cycle will start again.

My sister is lazy and won't do anything for herself?

Just because she is pregnant doesnt mean she is handicapped,First I think she is being unfair with her husband that works so much and when he comes home he still has to cook and clean,i mean, come on she could at least make him something to eat when he gets home tired from work. She shouldnt have cussed you guys out it seems like you guys are busy enough already. As long as she doesnt have to pick up anything heavy while cleaning or do anything that could effect her I dont see why she cant do the easy cleaning,like vacuming,dusting,cleaning counters or mopping. I was hit in the temple lightly by a jacket hanger on a door?

Today I went into a public bathroom and into a stall. I was taking off my backpack when the stall door slowly swung back and hit me near my right temple (a bit closer to my eye) and it only hurt for a few seconds, so I didn't pay much attention to it. Later on I was at walmart and I lightly pushed on my cheek, and there was this little tiny dot (lump) type thing on kind of on the right side of my nose about 2 centimeters above my lip, and when I pushed on it, my top right-front went numb; as well as a jolt of light pain going up my right canine tooth. I was wondering if the light blow near the temple, and the jolt of pain and numbness on my cheek and teeth were related? Please help, I don't want to go into a coma when I go to sleep, lol.

Out of control brother age 20, need immediate help?

My brother has become out of control and abusive since dating his girlfriend. He throws things, screams, hits me and swings at our mother, lies, steals, and more. He overdrafts his bank account on a weekly basis by hundreds of dollars, and mom is passive and does not hold him accountable for anything. The girlfriend is a huge problem-we found a blog she kept for months about what idiots our family is, and she deleted it-but it's still a nightmare dealing with them. Now, the new thing is a 4th of July trip he wants to go on with her. My mom wants to kick him out if he goes, but I think it is going to kill her. The situation would be easier to deal with if my mom didn't have stage 4 breast cancer. The stress of my brother's actions are too much on her. The situation would also be easier if my dad was around, but he is just as dysfunctional as my brother, and my mom is currently filing for divorce. I let them move into my home a few months ago, and I wish things were easier. Any advice? We need help.

So, I write stuff like short stories, novels, etc. I've used the two names Seth and Kayla for main characters in, I think, 4 of my stories. None of the stories are related to each other, and the characters always have a different background, look, personality, relationship, etc. Is this an "okay" thing to do? I am 18 and about to start college. Sometimes I am very confident, talkative, and motivated, but sometimes I have no confidence in myself, am very shy, and I don't even want to get out of bed. My mom just calls me lazy and tells me I'm just making stupid excuses when I express these concerns, but I'm pretty sure it's something more serious. I know teenagers have mood swings and hormones make us crazy, but it happens all the time. There are months where I have no motivation to do anything at all. Why do i have mood swings sometimes?

Though I didn't know it at the time, I would say the first sign(s) of my mental issues were in 11th grade, I was very annoying and sometimes I was hyper and it was like I couldn't sit still (but I don't think I had/have add/adhd as I could focus really good in school), and sometimes I would cause myself pain by hitting my arm against lockers (which was in a way that it was annoying to many), and I would also sit in a way that one side of my chest was on the desk; and it hurt but I loved it. Then in 12th grade I had become depressed and for a while I just couldn't be happy; this is when I started cutting myself. after a while in addition to the depression, anxiety, and cutting I had mood swings from depressed to manic; or at least I think they were manic spells, usually I would have a lot energy and want to do so much anywhere from for a few minutes to a few days, and eventually id go back to depressed and would struggle to get out of bed (I think I may be bipolar sometimes, but ive been getting help and Idk what my diagnosis is). I also wouldn't hesitate to get physically when middle school kids when I was in high school (they used the same busses). I think I still have some degree of mood swings, though I feel stable now. So why do I have mood swings?

My ex best friend and i got into a fight last year. Should i apologize? More details provided below :)?

My best friend of ten years and i got into a fight last year and have not talked since. When we see each other (which isn't often) we ignore each other. The argument started because she had not been truthful to me the last three years of out friendship (it was not a huge lie but, something i felt i should have been informed about) the way she treated me when she was in an relationship, and her personality was starting to change and it seemed as though our morals and interest were becoming different. It got to the point where we had a class together while this disagreement was going on and i sat one seat in front of her and we completely ignored each other. Part of the disagreement was about how she would let her controlling boyfriends take over her life and she would leave little to no time for us to hang out. Months after the disagreement she texted me and it was clear that the fight still bothered her; so i offered to meet up for coffee or lunch and discuss what happened over the past few months. She then replied back and said she would text me when she was off from work so we could meet up and she never texted me back. I did not think anything of it and moved on. After a year of having this disagreement i am now in my first relationship which is healthy and happy, i am doing well in school, and am planning to go to emt school in the fall. With in the past month part of me has question if i should go and apologised for the disagreement between my ex best friend and i. However the fact that she now has a new best friend and is into different things now makes me question if i should just except that fact that both she and her family played and important role in my childhood and are great people however we have just grown apart and have begun to express new interest. Part of me says i just need to apologize for letting something such as a boy get in the way. Now that i am in a relationship i do not agree with what she did, but i have more of an understanding. When a relationship is new it is excited and you want to spend time with that person and get to know them better. I have a neighbor who is about 53 any who he does maintenance in my mothers home well one day he came over to my home and asked for my number and my mothers number I thought it was strange because although we see him and he is friendly he has never ever came over here.... In this situation, you've just got to be the bigger person. The whole 'Kayla says hi' thing was obviously her way of aggravating you and she's just looking for a reaction. If you try and ignore it and keep your head up, avoid her as much as possible at work and be neutral towards her in the situations that you DO have to be with her in, this should diffuse the situation. If she is looking for you to feel that she is making your life hell she will succeed only if you let her... you've got to pretend that she doesn't bother you, even when you feel like hitting her! I wish there was a better solution! in more anger management type help: viewing her as something completely ridiculous in your mind, finding flaws in her appearance and staring at them until she gets paranoid and merely smiling as you see her get more and more wound up also helped me!

I am taking birth control but i did miss a pill by nine hours 3 weeks ago... I am having odd symptoms that have been evident for the last week. These are: sore breasts and nipples... almost tingly or something, slight cramps like I'm getting ready to start my period, dull back aches here and there, headaches, to much information but a slight white discharge, and the most recently crazy mood swings... one minute I'm happy the next I'm mad or crying for no reason. My period is now 6 days away. I have taken three tests now.... one when it was 8 days away, the next 7 days away, and then today 6 days away. All said negative. I just don't know if they were accurate though because the box says they are only 50% accurate 4 days away. I really just want to know for sure whats going on and why I am having these symptoms. When I was in high school middle school kids always had an attitude and I didn't hesitates to get physical, especially since I knew the bus driver didn't care (the high school and middle school are next to each other so they use the same busses), now that im done with high I don't do that anymore, but high school made me become mental (I do get help for my mental issues such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, and cutting), and if somebody annoyed me these days I would probably just use my psycho laugh and look scary (which I've become good at since I've gone mental). I started cutting at age 12 later to find out I had depression, I take Prozac for it. When I was 13 I started having paranoia and agoraphobia so they upped the dose on my Prozac which helps with my paranoid feelings.... Though I still act upon my paranoia at times, such as taping my camera lens so people cannot watch me or even dialing 911 just because I think something bad will happen. The reason why I am asking this is because I was just trying to fall asleep and all of a sudden a really loud voice came in my head and I woke right up... I don't think that's normal and at the moment I am hearing clear voices in my head, I use to imagine voices but they never each had their own individual tones and dialects... It was sort of like I was just thinking oddly to myself... But now the voices are so clear and annoying that I just can't handle it. I'm 14 going on 15 years old, do you think maybe my depression could really be anything else?? I also have sever mood swings if someone upsets me... One little thing and I'm breaking things, thinking about cutting again, and keeping myself from all humanity.

My lender keeps throwing up road blocks in my refinance. What can I do?

So I have been trying to refi my house to build a garage. I owe 50k and they said they'll lend 80 percent of the appraised value. First appraisal came in at 85k. Giving me a little less than I wanted but I could swing it. The underwriter kept trying to get the appraiser to knock the appraisal down but they wouldn't so the underwriter ordered a new appraisal. That one came back at 85k and the underwriter said now they'll only loan up to 75 percent of the appraisal or I can get a non-fixed heloc loan for the garage. The whole point was to get one loan at a low fixed rate. Now rates are going back up and the whole summer is almost gone. So if I go to another lender and it takes 30-45 days to close (going on 60 with this bank) that puts me mid August for building it and puts a crunch on time frame. I just want to know if this is legal? If I would have been told ANY of this could happen I would have just went back to Wells Fargo whom seems to still like to finance people with 800 mid scores and 28 percent debt to income. So what can I do and is this legal? And can they stick me with there useless appraisals?

4 month old naps in her car seat?

I was just wondering if anyone else has a baby who will EASILY fall asleep in their car seat, but will fight naps everywhere else? I've tried her swing, her crib, her Pack-N-Play, and her bouncie- But she'll fight her naps like crazy. In the car seat, she just relaxes and goes to sleep. I don't even have to rock it. She still only naps for an hour or so (even when she naps on/with me, she'll only sleep an hour max. Never really been a napper, but she has been sleeping thru the night since 2 months w/ no cereal. However now she IS on cereal), but her Dr says that's fine because of how curious and observant she is. Anyways- Does anyone else have a baby who falls asleep in the car seat when it's not even IN the car? Lol.

I need to know about my birth control!?

I just need a little advice on what to do. I'm 20 years old. I started taking lo Seasonique a couple of years ago, but stopped taking it because it costs too much. That's when I got the depo provera shot and it DOES NOT agree with me. I've gotten 2 shots as well as horrible acne, terrible mood swings and VERY VERY long periods (the first one was 3 weeks, the second has been a week and still not over (they used to be 3 days with no birth control and about 5 days with lo Seasonique). My question is that if I spend the extra money to get lo Seasonique again, will it affect my body at all since I'll still have the shot in my system for the next year?
